Little Gem's brand new series How to Lose Weight Well starts this Monday 11th January at 8pm on Channel 4.
Join Dr Xand van Tulleken and dietitian Hala El-Shafie as they help three pairs of dieters to road-test some of the most hyped up and written about diets on the market today. The dieters have all got an upcoming event they want to slim down for so are divided into three timeframes: CRASHERS on short term diets, SHAPE SHIFTERS on six week programmes and LIFE CHANGERS on four month plans. Café cook Stacie Stewart helps the volunteers to turn their diets into delicious dishes.
In the first episode, Rachael and Katie have ten days to slim down for a weekend getaway, twins Phil and Simon go on six week dieting plans to lose their love handles before their 26th birthday and sisters Betty and Fei want to slim down for a friends reunion in four months time. The rules, the tips and the highs and lows of all the diets are laid bare in this funny and informative new series.
